Axiomtek – a world-renowned leader relentlessly devoted to the research, development, and manufacture of innovative, highly efficient, and reliable industrial computer products – proudly introduces the tBOX210, an EN-certified fanless embedded system purpose-built for onboard intelligent surveillance and data-intensive rail applications. Powered by 14th, 13th, and 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors with up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, the tBOX210 delivers the computing performance, high-bandwidth connectivity, and scalable storage capacity required for demanding rolling stock environments.

Certified for Global Rail Deployment
The tBOX210 is certified to CE, LVD, FCC, EN 50155, EN 45545-2, and NFPA 130, meeting stringent global railway safety and fire protection standards. This comprehensive certification helps reduce deployment risks and accelerate time-to-market for international rail projects. Built for demanding rolling stock environments, the system supports a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (OT4) to withstand extreme onboard thermal conditions and complies with vibration and shock standards, including MIL-STD-810G and EN 61373.
Flexible Power Design for All Train Types
With a wide 24 to 110 VDC power input, the tBOX210 supports seamless deployment across diverse rolling stock systems without the need for additional power converters. Integrated with comprehensive power protection mechanisms, including OCP, OVP, UVP, and RPP, the system ensures stable operation under fluctuating power conditions. In addition, the built-in Smart Ignition power management enhances system reliability and safeguards data integrity.
Built for Reliable Onboard Video Recording
Designed as a compact and reliable onboard surveillance hub, the tBOX210 enables high-bandwidth video data captured through four M12 2.5GbE LAN interfaces, combined with high-capacity two or four swappable SATA storage bays with RAID support. This integrated architecture ensures continuous high-definition recording, data collection, and reliable operation in demanding rail environments. With scalable storage capacity, the system supports extended video retention and redundancy, ensuring critical footage is always preserved for operational and compliance needs.
“Deploying surveillance systems in rail environments is particularly challenging due to strict regulatory requirements, continuous vibration, and demanding operating environments,” said Kirk Lo, Head of Transportation Product Division at Axiomtek. “The tBOX210 is designed as a universal rail-ready platform that combines certified reliability, rugged design, application-oriented I/O interfaces, and scalable storage, enabling customers to deploy robust onboard surveillance and data collection systems with greater efficiency and reduced integration complexity.”
Axiomtek’s tBOX210 will be available in early July. For more product information or customization services, please visit our global website at www.axiomtek.com or contact one of our sales representatives at [email protected].
